It’s a digital world. While the trend of all things online was already on the rise, social distancing exacerbated it. According to Hootsuite’s “The State of Digital 2020 — Global Q4 Update” report, users spend an average of 6 hours and 55 minutes per day online. Let’s take a look at some stats from the report:

Total population — 7.81 billion
Unique mobile phone users — 5.20 billion
Internet users — 4.66 billion
Active social media users — 4.14 billion
